ABOUT THE ARCHIVE MEDIA HOUSE | LAS VEGAS PHOTOGRAPHER

Every business has a visual story worth documenting.

That's why I built
The Archive.

Over eight years ago, MacMo Photo & Co. started with a camera and a belief that founder-led businesses were being underserved by traditional photography. Eight years later, that belief grew into The Archive Media House, a boutique creative media agency in Las Vegas serving two very different kinds of businesses with the same simple idea: build the visual archive as the business grows instead of scrambling to catch up after milestones have passed.

Makayla Hopper The Archive Media House Founder

I'm Makayla Hopper.
Las Vegas native, and Founder and CEO of The Archive Media House.

I picked up a camera in high school and have been shooting ever since. About eight years ago, I started taking it seriously, shooting weddings and portraits under MacMo Photo & Co. That's where I learned my craft. Weddings are high pressure. You don't get a second chance, so you learn to move quickly, make decisions on the spot, and guide people into the moments that matter.

At the same time, I was building a career in construction project management. From the day I graduated high school until 2024, I worked every stage of a project: first on site at GWC Engineering, through the middle at Martin Harris Construction, and last on site at J&J Asphalt. I know how a build starts, how it runs, and how it closes out.

About two years ago, I started working with business owners and fell in love with it. So many of them were building something incredible, but their visuals weren't keeping up. Builders were finishing beautiful projects with nothing but iPhone snapshots to show for them. Women founders had a story that wasn't being told. Neither needed another one-off shoot. They needed someone who understood their business and showed up as they grew.

In 2024, I left Martin Harris to run my business full time. The Archive Media House is the evolution of MacMo Photo & Co. Same operator. Same eye for details and timelines. Everything I learned from eight years of building MacMo and a career on job sites, built for founder-led brands and construction companies who want their visuals to keep pace with the business they're building.

At The Archive, we don't think in shoots. We think in years.

Every partnership is built around your business as it evolves, not the day we're on set.

What You’re Building Deserves to Be Seen

Our mission is to build living visual archives for founder-led brands and construction companies, so nothing you build gets captured once and forgotten.

The People Behind the Archive

The Archive is small on purpose. A three-person executive team runs the strategic side of the business. A curated network of vetted photographers, videographers, and creative directors handles the creative execution. When you hire us, you're partnering directly with the founders of the best creative companies we know. Everyone rises together, and every client gets senior-level attention on every project.

A Note on the Rebrand.

For eight years, this business was MacMo Photo & Co. A studio. A camera. A photographer at the head of a small operation.

In 2026, MacMo became The Archive Media House, the next chapter in growth with the same operator and same clients who trusted MacMo year after year.

What changed is the scale of what we can build together. The Archive is the version of this business that founder-led brands and construction companies asked us to become.

THE ARCHIVE MEDIA HOUSE
FORMERLY MACMO PHOTO CO.
Note on the Rebrand

The Archive isn't for everyone.

On purpose.

We are not a fit for:

  • One-off shoots or single-day projects.

  • Content built on AI-generated imagery.

  • Businesses looking for the cheapest photographer available.

  • Anyone treating photography as a marketing checkbox instead of infrastructure.

If any of the above describes what you need, we can recommend a fit. It just isn't us.

Building something worth documenting?

Let's build your archive together.
