"Makayla is not just another photographer, and cannot be easily replaced. She truly feels like an extension of our own company. We've been in the fashion industry for over a decade, and we know a gem when we see one."

THE BEFORE

Nina runs Boneyard Star, a sustainable clothing brand using primarily rescued and repurposed materials. She had over a decade of fashion industry experience behind her. What she didn't have was a brand image that reflected the professionalism of the business she was actually running. She described her state before: "Inconsistent. Behind where my business actually was. Frustrated."

THE PARTNERSHIP

What surprised her most: "How much of a wider spectrum of tasks Archive took on, which in turn really made them feel like an extension of my own company."

The front-end planning and communication were what Nina named as most valuable. Every phase of the partnership, from concept through delivery, was handled with the professionalism she had spent 10 years learning to recognize.

THE TURNING POINT

"Good timing to start shooting my product lines."

Simple stated, but the moment mattered. Nina had reached the point where she had product to sell, brand equity to protect, and a solopreneur workload that was pulling her in every direction. She needed a partner, not a photographer.

THE AFTER

What Nina named as changed:

  • More confident

  • Clearer about her brand

  • More decisive

  • Excited to show up

  • Less overthinking

  • Felt aligned with where she's going

  • "Felt like I was not in the trenches alone, which for a solopreneur is incredibly valuable"

What changed publicly:

  • Showing her face more

  • Posting more consistently

  • Clearer messaging

  • Better website confidence

  • Easier content creation

  • Using visuals across multiple platforms

  • "Was hesitating to add any 'Calls to Action' in my social media, because I wasn't confident about my website. Now we are."

Results she can name:

  • More engagement

  • More inquiries

  • Comments on professionalism and elevation

WHAT SHE'D TELL SOMEONE ON THE FENCE

"Absolutely. It is comparatively a small investment with amazing ROI potential. That said, the client has to jump in with Archive fully and put the photos to use in social media, campaigns, advertising, etc. Their team is professional, punctual, compassionate, educated in technologies, and driven."
